Another rumour is Eastern Park are naturally chasing Benny McMullen and Brett Woodward as they are both playing footy there, that would be a pretty handy div2 bowling attack if u also included Ray Ray, Franky Mc and Ian

I think R&C will be nominating for Grade 2 and 5 only?

You can't "nominate" which grades in which you want to occupy, you can request to be placed in a lower division than where you are meant to be placed which needs to be accompanied by a list of players who will not play for you in the coming season. The listed players are "NOT" allowed to play for your club at all for that season. More often than not the request is denied, times are changing though and if there's a club willing to do a straight swap it generally helps your cause.
I think it's further evidence that the PDCA needs to revert to a 6 team per grade competition, 1up, 1 down.

Will not happen in either case.

I doubt Brett would go but there is a big chance that Benny Mc may go especially now that Chris Edge isn't playing this year

What would you do with the other 3x weeks that you lose by downsizing grades?

5 two day games
5 one day games
5 T20 games with a T20 GF

I'd run the T20's as a separate comp over December/January and just a top 2 to play off in a GF, that gives it a 23 week season just like it has already.

Not bad - pretty similar to the C&CCA structure also and that seems to be working ok

I'd probably limit it to the top 3 grades though, I'd also have it that a club's A Grade HAS to be in Grade 1, 2 or 3. There would have to be an exception to the one day comp which would have to be one of the most rorted competitions in Australian cricket.

Salisbury West and Central United b grade played last year and obviously had strong sides but they have been promoted

Angle Vale b grade and Craigmore b grade drop back from 2 to 3 and to be honest they were very average more like c grade sides

Div 3 would be like the div 5-6 off old

You making a comeback mate??
