FWIW, if he has Epilepsy then he has a physical illness as well as a mental one. It's not much fun I can tell you. Even if it is controlled the disease always effects you to some degree.

Should the same have applied for Ben Cousins

I think when the police start arresting people it becomes public interest. Otherwise, yes

Still find it interesting that his little driving incident didnt get more air time. Wonder what the police tox reports were, it all got swept under the carpet by Sydney and the AFL pretty quickly

could easily be explained by epilepsy though too right?

Possible, but you would have to admit his party life may have contributed to not only that but his current situation.

Sydney have said the mental health issues are unrelated to the mild epilepsy that he suffers from

Unfortunatly I think this is all part of the PR exercise being put in place for when the $&@! hits the fan. I'm not saying the epilepsy part isn't true or anything like that just I think we are getting the image they want before we get the real 'other' story

I reckon it was a case of "nothing to see here". He isn't and never was "above the law".

I'm not saying that, I consider mental health a very serious and dangerous condition

What I am saying is that the club have said that the epilepsy fits and the mental health condition he is suffering is not related to one other.

There is no reason he can't have epilepsy yet also be dabbling in the rumours that are around

I think there are some other connections being made.

Lance wasn't the most discreet of people when he first came on the AFL scene.

Just in case our lead up to our first final couldn't get any worse, IT HAS! We've got Razor Ray as one of our umpires!!!!!! :(
