I know I am going to regret this...

But why?

if the cgrade clubs hadnt had jumped ship to the div 8 super league, the div 7 result "may" have been very different this year

If the quality of the previous years C Grades were the same, I suspect the Grand Finalists in 2015 would have been the same. The standard was much lower this year, granted, but I suspect that's the case for a lot of divs..

Look at C1, Adelaide Uni are on top pretty easily and its been widely debatable who would beat who out of the AU C1 side and their Prelim D7 side. So I doubt any other C1 side would've done any better than AU this year in D7.

Tea Tree Gully in '12 and the Henley side that lost to Paralowie might have made it perhaps...

And the sides which entered D8 from D7 (Modbury and SMOSH) hardly set the world on fire.

Would be interested to see how PAOC (and to a lesser extent Unley and TTG) would have gone in Div 7 this year.

It would've been a great competition, no doubt about it.

If only.

yes its was expected that PAOC & TTG were lined up for div 7 in febuary remember?

lets also not forget that the Adelaide Uni in div 7 is their "E" grade, and MP & Houghton were barely a bee's dick ahead of them

im not saying anyones better than anyone, im just saying "appreciate" that div 7 is now (or this year) a nursery division where small time entities like MP can have such success and not be impeded by the depth of the Div 1 Div 2 clubs

and MPs 2015 flag is lovely

Lets not forget that Adelaide Uni's sides don't follow a traditional hierarchical progression, thus who would beat who is highly debatable, even amongst Adelaide Uni people.

blah blah

its great u wanna contradict anything to do with c-grade super league

but i repeat, your 2015 has not been "impeded" by any div 1 div 2 club (excluding Uni's E-Grade), and you guys are the best of the best small time entities in the nursery division of the saafl, so congrats, a great win and am stoked u got there

its a great concept, dont fight it

blah blah
Translation:

"I've made an outlandish statement and I have nothing of substance to support it"

it would have been the best D7 for years if TTG, PAOC, Unley and Henley all played.

bookies would say that PAOC CGrade would slaughter MP

The Div 8 and C1 divisons are in probably enjoying the best seasons ever

and the div 7 development divisions for small time agrade entities has seen some fantastic, positive encouraging results for these "once flaking nearing closure" clubs

the seperation of AGrade vs CGrade in div 7 is for the better, appreciate you are where you are now numb nuts :)

Would they? TTG's 2015 D8 side isn't as good as their 2012 D7 side from all reports, my contact at TTG said to the tune of about 20 goals, but lets be conservative and say by about 10 goals. I'd say our 2015 side would get beat by our 2012 side by about 10 goals as well. That side beat TTG in 2012 by 5 goals.

Using those reference points as a sort of baseline.

PAOC are +5 vs TTG '15
TTG '15 are -10 vs TTG '12

Therefore

PAOC are -5 Vs TTG '12
PAOC are -10 vs MP '12

MP '15 are -10 vs MP '12

Therefore

PAOC = MP '15

As I said, it would have been a great comp. The standard of D7 and D8 were roughly the same. Pity some whiny little cry babies made it not happen.

This is 100% correct. For years Adel Uni's D7R side was the B side

Uni's D7 team was their C-grade.

D7R was more akin to their E-grade.

div 7 = nursery division

saafl would be very pleased with the saviour of multiple clubs which were set to fold

the alignment towards a div 8 cgrade super league, despite not wanting it at the time, has resulted in a positive status for everyone

and some yobbo flapping his lips down at mp wont change the positive repercussions that hav occurred from the move

mp is the best of the best small time entities in the saafl and what a wonderful journey it took to get there
