Congratulations to all at West Adelaide for gaining their spot in the Grand Final so comprehensively yesterday. Both the Eagles and Bloods deserve to be there, having been undeniably the top two sides all year and I wish both teams all the best. Personally, though, I would love to see a West Adelaide premiership. 32 years is a long time between drinks and they thoroughly deserve to break their drought.

As for my beloved Doggies, a fantastic second half of the season that saw us climb seven spots higher on the ladder than many predicted mid-season. If we can keep the team (and coach) pretty much together next season, I can see good times ahead. Very proud of the spirit shown by the boys this season. What the boys lacked in skills they very much made up for with team spirit and work ethic.

As for those who said that Roy was past his use-by date, I don't think any other coach could have got these young boys to where they ended up. Truly the right coach for Central!

Cheers

Well done Westies - very impressive yesterday and showed their depth is better than most.

Sets up an intriguing GF which I hope is well attended but fear may not be, although at least the weather forecast looks good.

Proud of the young Dogs side, and hoping the majority of the team can be retained, and improved with some more of the kids that are coming through.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

Who is potentially in for West as they will need them.

Im not interested what you read but what do you hear?

Just general footy talk but more what I have read and from Central people.

You request facts and then you post this. At least I had drowning my sorrows for an excuse.

West were on fire yesterday, they beat us at our own game and were so much cleaner when getting away from the clearances. We fumbled way too many times and our play makers like T Schiller were way down on form. Some real clangers at pivotal times allowed West to score easily. Even when we were tacking them they manage to get a kick away for a goal. It really was Wests day. My post game post was affected by way too many plastic cups of stale beer. I would love to see Westies get a premiership, their only one in 3 decades and after yesterdays effort with some quality footy, they deserve it.

Once again the Lizbeff choir was in full voice, kept me entertained and chanting away the afternoon. Westies crowd an enthusiastic bunch and why wouldn't they be. Hopefully a fair amount of neutrals make the GF.

Agree with what you have said wild dog, I only hope that we come out and play the same next Sunday!

The Lizbeff choir was in full voice yesterday, I said to my friend at the end of the last quarter that you had to respect them as they stayed until the end!

Go Bloods!

Supporters of the teams in the GF don't care how many turn up.
At least Port Magpies / Power aren't in it.
the hypocrisy on here is unbelievable. I do believe last years GF crowd was the largest for a very long time. Let's see if any West supporters come out of their rocks. No doubt the Eagles supporters will be there.

Congratulations to West. Best side on the day by far.

Still proud of the doggies to finish 3rd after such a shaky start to the season.

Something to build on if we can retain most players 8)
