Big chance IMO. Won't play first half of the season and after round 11 teams can upgrade a rookie onto the main list

Get to pay him less and pick up a new recruit in the draft who are normally better than those left in the rookie draft

Not sure if he is still contracted. Reckon Port did this with Logan this season

Just looked it up, contracted till the end of next year. So won't be getting delisted and rookied

And yep port did they with Logan but even Logan knew he wouldn't really be playing afl at all. Jaensch is in our best 22 if fit (though will have a lot more competition for spots now which is a good thing)

Alex Keath, talented sportsmans....chose cricket over football after being on the original Gold Coast list as a 17 yr old. Played Big Bash and for the Bushrangers. Cat B rookies are basically free and worth a punt, only 23 as well.

My understanding is he will continue to play cricket and the Crows will fund it.
