Virginia knock off Gardens in a high scoring match, first loss of the season. Gardens still top :)

Great place to play, even better to watch with the new clubrooms.

Coming off a duck from memory, goes out and tons up.

Here's hoping your right

He's always been hit and miss, very talented though and a top bloke to match.

It would be great for the competition if they were to take it out after getting a free ticket into Grade 1 this season, their big test comes this week.

Excuse my inner laughter but how many blokes were pretty happy when they seen the Saturday evening news and discovered that cricket was cancelled on Sunday? I know there was a lot of people pissed off about the double-header.

Yep definately didn't wanna back up an intense low scoring game against CU with an ultra competitive game against Salisbury West in 41 degrees.

At Enfield we were extremely happy haha!! The Sunday game meant we had to find 7x teams for the weekend, and our lower grades are all either old people or people who umm how can I put this nicely.. lack ability - not easy for them to back up two days in a row lol

Loved only being 4ft nothing at Eastern park, at least when I went knee down to field a ball it would generally bounce a foot over my head lol, have seen many blokes get hit in the middle of the forehead from fielding there

I did that at Bradman Oval one day fielding at long off, I did everything right and the ball hit a divot and cleared my head easily, it was a black day for us as we had to chase 359 for memory, we followed it up by making 427 the next week after copping a barrage of shit all day, good times.

He can play thats for sure, rocket of an arm as well.

Being my first year out there, you can see the guys are excited about doing well in Div 1 after a disappointing season last year.

Hopefully we can keep it going.

With this Saturday looking very likely to be called off who would have predicted Gardens and Atco to both be in the top 3 at Christmas.

Real strange yet interesting season so far.
