Good chance they they can turn it around in the next 3 or 4 weeks. Richmond, Brisbane, Carlton and even West Coast at home are winnable...all of a sudden you are say 5-4, you are still in it. Premierships aren't won in April & May. Good to have you back Booney, missed your input on here...
In this form I'm not penning any of them in as wins. The first 3 should be wins....should be.
( Cheers. Week in Melbourne with the family was good )
They were all losses last year and i dont think Port are a better team this year

Hartlett didn't point at anything, he gave Scotty a cheeky thumbs up as though to say good on ya champ. No finger extended.

I liked it, I enjoy seeing players give each other (including coaches) some good banter.
Port will win this week.

Was Hartlett really given a 6 year deal?

I'd be more concerned with Lobbe's contract

Westhoff has had one quiet career. Put a man on him and he's done. I'm stunned you rate him.

Lobbes is a concern if you ask me. Hartletts is fricken long but really woukd you be expecting to turn many of them over though from that list?
I think free agency really has teams spooked at the moment.

Port would want to put a lot of time and effort into recruiting and developing younger players over the coming seasons - wouldn't want to get to 2020 and lose half their A grade..

4 years on top of what he had in place.

Lucky Broadbent is locked away for another 3 1/2 years.......
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

So at the beginning of this year he was sitting on a 6 year deal, I don't think anyone, apart from Buddy, would have a longer contract in the AFL.
Good player and worth locking away, but 6 years provides a fair bit of comfort for the player.
I was surprised with Lobbe, surely locking one ruckman away for a long term deal and the other short term would be the smart play.

In losses of 58 and 48 points how well do key forwards play?

That poses another problem, why didn't they throw him back when it went sour? He is supposed to be "Mr Fix It" isn't he?

I'm tired of them doing that, it blows our structure ( or what is left of it ) apart and we just try and hold on instead of get back into the game or keep a lead ( as we did last year at AO when the Hakws had nearly 80 I50's chasing our big lead ).
