I thought his reference to the people looking at him was more to say that he didn't belt anyone from behind?
Was such a different day back then - There'd be more chance a VFL player belted someone and copped one back on a Saturday than brushing their teeth for the week.

Agreed JK, that was what he was saying. Who can blame him for his attitude with Hawthorn after what Leigh Matthews the biggest thug and disgrace to the game did. Jacko disrespects cowards like Matthews while the AFL promote them!

Jacko also disrespects Barassi, which is straight up nonsense.

Jacko was spot on from some of the accounts I've heard of him, another AFL lovechild though.

To tell one of the more intellectual and experienced journos out there that he didn't have the mental capacity to have a discussion about a relationship with an underworld figure speaks volumes of the lack of intellectual capacity Jackson has.

His attitude to belting people also disgusted me. "Because they were Hawthorn, because they were looking at me!"

A deadset bottom swimmer who had ability but lacked the aptitude to apply it all correctly and goes on to blame everyone but himself for his own failings.

It rated its arse off but if they keep pulling these blokes in, it'll turn into a circus the same way The Footy Show and Triple M's Rub programs have.

Give me the compelling drama and humility of Barry Cable over this moron any day of the week.

Sheehan was hesitant to do the interview with him but i don't reckon he expected Jacko to tee off on him like he did.

Can we have Jacko every week and get rid of Mike?
I'd watch that!

Should be charged with fraud. Hand the rules of the game to the National Trust while we're at it.

Flogs footy's from the club, puts bricks behind people's brake pedals, decks blokes in training drills and slags off every club he's been involved with and 80% of the coaches. But it's everyone else's fault.... A grade dickhead.

I liked the bit at the end where Jacko was asked about whether he respected the women in the modern game. His reply: "I respect women, but I don't think they should be inseminated at the top level."

He's not wrong, it's much more useful inseminaging them just below the middle level.

You're right, not many entry-level openings at the higher tiers. ;)

Anyhoo, I'm not sure Jacko's too clear on the whole insemination thing since he had to correct himself on the number of kids he's got.

Now hang on there Booney, he did use the word 'sycophant' successfully in a sentence.

Before learning it in the green room prior to going on air I'll bet Jacko thought it meant an animal with a trunk that wasn't feeling well.
