Sorry was this the first one since the 'national competition' has been formed and there are now officially clubs from other states

I suppose, it was exactly the same format as last year though. I didn't see last nights game but last year's game was thoroughly enjoyable to watch.

I thought it was terrible to watch. Thought it was shit house and made worse by the fact we should have been watching finals footy.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

It's been a shit weekend which included women playing footy badly saturday night. To put it in context, would u enjoy watching mens netball on a saturday night on prime time tv?

Have you seen top level men's netball? It's bloody amazing to watch and puts the woman's game to shame. I'd definitely watch it.

Who cares about Netball? We are football fans and there was no AFL footy on this weekend. That's ******* shithouse. ROSS Lyon can EAD.

Interesting Fact:

2016 Can Swans win 3rd flag? (as Sydney) Bombers wooden spoon!

So it's a different club then?

Did the Power and Adelaide become different clubs when they moved from Footy Park to Adelaide Oval?

With the same club name and in the same city and state, no, they didn't.

To think Gill found the weekend bye a "raging success" - of course people tuned into the EJ whitten match and the womens match - there was nothing bloody else to do all weekend!!

The novelty though of both will wear off if stand alone games in a bye week every year - reckon most only tuned into the womens game out of curiosity.

EJ Whitten game annoys me - I know it's for a good cause etc, but I'd love to see a game a little more serious and not so scripted like a poor mans WWE event.

The only footy I saw on the weekend was the shootout in the EJ match.
I didn't bother about watching the Sheila's, I've seen enough of the Bays in my lifetime to cover that.

Watched none of the EJ game, watched about 30 minutes either side of half time of the womens match.

Absolute farce the weekend off and the AFL have to admit they got this one terribly wrong.

Us fans hate it but it sounds like the coaches like it. Some clubs will be able to play guys this week who they might not have been able to use last weekend.
