AFL ignore what your blokes do multiple times a game mate, stop being a girl and get on with it.

Not proud of it but I put someone on a stretcher in U17s giving someone a jab in the back. So it can happen.

Shit bloke there knuckles ;)

I'd suggest you gave him more than a tap if you put him on a stretcher...

It gave him back spasms. And I knew he had a back issue. As I said, not my proudest moment

Jeez you have a sandy vag over this. All I said was punches to the gut should be treated more harshly than they are given you can full on punch someone and get odd but a tiny tap to the head gets weeks

I literally shit myself whilst playing for the southern eagles. We had white shorts that day as well wasn't a great moment. Big feed of KFC hot and spicy the night before with a blend of 28 Red cans was a recipe for disaster.

Defiantly the worst thing I've done one the footy field.

Haha a Sandy Vag..... You kind of answered your own question there... We all know head hits are what gets the AFLs attention. Any head high contact and your gone.... Fair enough. Tummy taps and a bit of verbal is ok by me... It's about where the line has be drawn. My idea of where the line is, and yours is different. Nothing wrong with that Benny.... I am off to the chemist for some Vagisil!

It's not the tummy tap, it's the full on punch behind the play that gets nothing. I remember Robbie Gray doing it. And probably every hawthorn player :)

Good topic. I have a couple.

1. Broke a blokes nose once with a don't argue.... Perhaps should have gone with a palm there! Didn't even get reported!

2. Played on an ex SANFL league player one day. He was late in his career coming back to country footy. I was probably 19. This was mid 80's so the game was different. Anyway he gave me one to the head in a pack. I stood up threw one a flushed him on the jaw. He didn't flinch. I missed the next few games with a broken bone in my hand. Now for the funny bit... I play golf with this bloke from time to time. We have a good laugh about it now. It's what sport is all about!

I remember as a young lad playing against Henley I did a Ruggles gut punch on an older experienced bloke, next minute I'm in the hands of trainers with blood pissing out my nose, Lesson learnt. Having players exempt from retaliation would definitely put a stop to the cheapshots we see far too often
