Does have a first class batting average close to 30.

Its an interesting one. Instead of looking for thr all rounder that really we just dont have at the moment, perhaps having a guy like Cummins in at 7 is the answer to the additional seamer.

Starc can bat as well. Lyon is a pretty reason no.11 and Hazelwood wood can also bat. If Cummings could show this consistently at first class level it could be worth a look.

I recall South Africa having Pollock develop over the years to bat at no.7. Just needs a strong and consistent middle order.

Agree if you have both Starc and Cummins bowling well you could have them at 7 & 8 and give the gloves to Hansdcomb so you can play 5 genuine bowlers

I was think No.6 in this case Maddison went out. The we review the keeper who has to come in at 6.

Its a possible theory that depends on Cummings and Starcs batting developing a bit as well. I think Hazelwood is a solid no.9, knows how to hold a bat and Lyon and Bird a genuine tail enders.

Possible but still some way off yet. But if Cummimgs was up and firing it would be a handy addition. Still I dont see any reasom why we would do this at the moment with the Indian tour coming. Really we need to look at guys who can spin the ball at the moment to support our 4 main bowlers as they will do alot of work over there. Those pitches will be flat and shit.

Yeah it's not good and they have had 17 years to get it right. If you wanted to be more critical they had an additional 5 years to get it right after Amsterdam Arena!

Last ball, Scorchers need 3.
Finch bowls a waist high full toss and Agar puts him over fence.

I thought Finch was going to win it for the Renegades until that. Got Mitch Marsh caught in the deep, gave him a cheeky send off and then his run out of Voges was awesome but it wasn't to be for the Renegades.

That win puts Perth on top, they just keep getting the job done. The Renegades always seem to have one of the best teams on paper but have struggled to make the finals in the BBL.

Scorchers with Johnson batting at 10 is a very strong batting line up. They just lack a top class spinner, but Agar and Turner are handy enough in this format.
Renegades bowling with Narine and Hogg has wicket taking ability, but in think there batting is a bit weak. Finch,Cooper,Ferguson, White, Harris are a bit to hit and miss.

That's the biggest 6 I've seen since Pollard put the ball on the Adelaide Oval Western Hill with a 135 metre 6!

KP is a jet as a commentator. I love the respect he shows all avenues of the game. Kind of reminds me of a modern day Tony Greig.

I reckon it stands out how far ahead of Mark Waugh KP is when talking about this form of the game, much better understanding of it. Probably the same for all forms of the game. Waugh is one selector we dont need, he's a fair dinkum flog, Ponting should be a selector

Brett Lee's six against the West Indies in 2005 would still be the biggest at the Gabba. Ridiculous hit, it was measured at 143 metres.
