NORWOOD
Norwood’s versatility has received a boost with Matt Panos and Ed Smart returning to face South on Friday night.
The flexible utilities have recovered from minor injuries to be named across the half-forward line to confront the Panthers.
The premiership pair have been joined in the Redlegs’ 23-man squad by Harrison Viney, who has been named on the extended interchange bench.
Clever goalsneak Simon Phillips is the only certain exclusion at this stage due to a work commitment.

ADELAIDE
Adelaide has included five players for its SANFL Showdown against Port at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday.
AFL-listed trio Harrison Wigg, Tom Doedee and Jordan Gallucci all return, with the latter pair overcoming minor injuries.
Development players Tyson Lever and Mitchell Minns have been named on the five-man extended interchange bench.
Ruckman Reilly O’Brien has been called up to the AFL squad along with first-year player Myles Poholke while Kurt Waterman was squeezed out of the 23-man squad.

PORT
Port Adelaide captain Steven Summerton could be the only SANFL-contracted player to line up for the Magpies in Saturday’s SANFL Showdown at Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval.
The injection of four AFL-listed players – Matt Lobbe, Angus Monfries, Nathan Krakouer and Cam Hewett – has forced the omission of Luke Reynolds while Jesse Palmer has been called up by Power coach Ken Hinkley.
This will leave skipper Summerton, named on the five-man extended interchange bench, as the sole non AFL-listed player to tackle the Crows from 1.10pm.

Previously engaged with the AFL Academy, Fogarty (17, 192cm and 88kg) is itching to play senior football for the Tigers ahead of this year’s AFL U18 National Championships.
The talented utility has been named on the extended interchange bench for the Bays, together with key defender Max Proud and strongly-built midfielder Elliot Chalmers.
Small defender Harley Montgomery has been sent back to the Reserves.

NORTH
The long wait for Ben Darrou to make his SANFL Macca’s League debut is almost over.
After playing just 16 Reserves games for South Adelaide in the past two years due to injury, the North Adelaide key defender is set to play his first League match for the Roosters against West on Saturday.
The former Richmond rookie (23, 191cm and 96kg) joined North during summer seeking a fresh start and now has his opportunity after being named at full back by coach Josh Carr.
He has been joined in the Roosters’ 23-man squad by Blake Helyar, who has been named on the five-man extended interchange bench.

A member of last year’s VFL Team of the Year, Wilson hurt his knee against Norwood last Friday night.
The key defender will be joined by John Noble on the out list, with the latter sent back to the Reserves.
Speedy pair Murray Waite and Izak Rankine have been named on the extended interchange bench to possibly play their first Macca’s League game of the year.
They have been joined in the 23-man squad by key position duo Ben Klemke and Jesse Watchman, with Klemke likely to fill Wilson’s role.
