No, This is D5 - where top 5 is almost NEVER decided until round 18.

Big congrats to Dylan Hofmann who tomorrow runs out in the magoos in his 300th senior game for Hope Valley. Massive effort. Only 4 blokes with their name on that list in 111 years. Something to be very proud of. Good luck Hoffy!!

Just saw a D. Pitman and T.Edwards on the ressies list for Glenunga and almost had a heart attack

Luckily I looked at SP and saw it was Darcy and Thomas, not David and Tyson

Glenunga have a C Grade stalwart named Brad Ebert. If nothing else they can attract names!

and a very exciting 1 point win it was!!

At 1/2 time I thought I'd inflicted the Dee's with my kiss of death, the only other game I'd been to in 2017 was the very uncharcteristic loss to Woody South a few weeks back.

To the boys credit they battled on in the 2nd 1/2 slowly chipping away at the 1/2 time deficit, hit the front to have Glenunga tie it up near full time, that last point received the biggest cheer I've heard for quite a while, great finish to a hard fought battle!!

The Dee's went 3/3 today, plenty of celebrations at Rutland Ave tonight.

Wasnt the best win we had but got the job done with no bench from halfway through the 3rd to then falling 7 points behind during the last, then stepped up Michael Baker who had one the the best last qtrs ive seen out of a fwd 50, he kicked our last 3 goals to stir us to a win.
