At The Gov for a 50th yesterday afternoon.

"Two pales, please"

"$17 thanks"

Unfortunately that's pretty standard these days.

Went to the Moseley at Glenelg two weeks ago and almost needed a 2nd mortgage after drinking their for the arvo.
Prices were ridiculous but the views were good so we didn't mind forking it out! ;)

I pay $5.50 all day every day for my pints of pale. Get pints of anything for that including cider for the missus.

Could've been worse. The 50th might have been at the Strathmont.

Despite the $8.50 pints the day was very enjoyable. The thing with 50-somethings is they often are the parents of 20-somethings. 8)

Yeah I was drinking it last night a the Crows game.
$10 is a rip off but considering super dry was $9.20 from memory it was worth paying the extra.

Had a couple at the Bay tonight, $8.50 a pop. Goes down nicely in this chilly weather with a footy game happening.
