Impossible to make that judgment given he coaches a club whose focus is far from on-field matters and providing him with the resources necessary for seriously pursuing premiership success. Sows ears and silk purses.

Also, hope your keyboard gets some professional help, its got a pretty bad lisp.

The guy has done an amazing job to get 8 wins at North Adelaide. Deserves an AFL head coach spot with that performance, i doubt anyone else in the world could have managed half a dozen wins.

He hasn't had the cattle to show if he's good enough to be a senior coach.
He took over a basket case, the left overs from Kenny Mc. The club saved money during the K Mc era by having a part time coach, since then they've been hell bent on "developing their own players" and there has been no desire from the club to recruit players to fill the gaps (bloody big ones)
There must be plenty of room to move in the salary cap, hopefully the "football department" review that is happening at the moment highlights the areas the club needs to improve on and those responsible for letting it happen don't let their egos get in the way of what needs to be done.

Back off on Carr, I'm not convinced he's not still a coach capable of leading a successful team

Abit hard on Josh Carr. Dont see you putting your hand up. Pretty easy to sit behind a keyboard and a monitor and take pot shots at someone.

Iv coached at SANFL level mate and I can tell you its bloody hard work. It does not matter how good a coach you are if you dont have the cattle (ie players leave or none recruited) and the lads arent prepared to do the extra yards to be successful you will fail. Also if the club is not giving you the resources to be successful then you again will fail. While coaches are judged on the win/losses there are numerous things that could determine if you succeed or fail.

Dont be too quick to judge Josh Carr. From what i've heard he goes ok

Would think he'll see the year out, but needs to indicate he's making progress. Problem is the playing group is thin in terms of key position players, although OK in the on-ball division and smaller defenders. Therefore, the spoon on the cards to an extent, but not though Carr's coaching ability. Norm Smith with 10 Stephen Dank's up his sleeve would still be flat out getting a decent result out of the current mob at Prospect.
