Never should have dropped him.

If you don't want to be at a club that is playing in the biggest game of the year, doesn't instill much confidence in the other players.
As they say footy is played above the shoulders

His manager said this morning that Lever knew he was coming back to Melbourne very early on in the season

Buddy played in the 2013 GF, and he was gone. Would you drop him? Played well that day too

Slight difference. Gibbs has given 10 years service to his first club and isn't being offered massive amounts of money to swap clubs. Lever is 3 years in the system now wants to command top dollar for his services and Class himself as elite for his position.

A little unfair.

Gibbs had played for a decade when Carlton have been poo. Stayed loyal longer than he had to.

Lever has given what, one and half good years?

I'm not saying Adelaide handled it well by any stretch.

Big difference actually as Lever isn’t contracted but Gibbs is contracted.

The crows chasing Gibbs is far worse IMO
But that’s life in the AFL these days.

No. I'm sure the players wanted him in the side unlike Adelaide with Lever.

Have you heard him speak since Leaver announced he's going or basing this on ambulance chasers "I believe", "I've been told" and "it's reported"?
