Nah Ryder was wearing a black t shirt. I don't think its any mistake that black is a major colour of Port Adelaide. They were clearly sending a message of unity and cohesion.
Not to mention Ryder was sitting at an angle of 180 degrees. Coincidence? I think not.
Also, did anyone count the syllables he used in his presser? Yeah. Suss!
Ha, I fizzled out last night, we let the kids stay home in exchange for a weekend night.
On the flip side, having 3 dry nights a week now, we're on a mission!
Dry and CC’s?
Ha, nope, totally without.
We usually have a few quiet red's Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, we've stamped them out and replaced them with an our in our home weight set up and a 3km run.
Gave up the durries a few weeks ago so now it's limiting the alcohol intake, we don't get smashed, just enjoy a drink with dinner and while we wind down after a stressful day.

MW has a point. If they fully support him why did they take down all references to the club etc?
Coincidence I think not!
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
Thank you for attending this media opportunity. Its purpose is for the Port Adelaide Football Club to make a statement about the events of last Sunday morning in the City which involved Port Adelaide’s Paddy Ryder and others.
In a few moments Paddy will make a statement himself.
The Club has been dealing with Paddy and others this week about those events.
We know that Paddy has been charged with hindering police and an assault on a police officer. These allegations are being taken seriously by both Paddy and the Club.
The Club fully supports Paddy and completely respects his right to defend these allegations and allow all relevant matters to be fully and properly ventilated during the court proceedings. We eagerly await the resolution of these allegations in a court of law and we do not intend to engage in any trial by the media or discuss any of the evidence. This can all wait for the court process.
We are well aware that some of the media stories this week have been incorrect, unbalanced and not based upon a true and complete picture of the events. This has been unfair and has had a negative impact on Paddy and his family, and on the Club too.
This will be rectified in due course when all of the evidence will be dealt with in the court process.
Neither the Club nor Paddy will be responding to any questions now or until the conclusion of the court proceedings.
I will now ask Paddy to say a few words.
Thank you.

I think it’s unfortunate that the information given to the public so far by the media falls a long way short of the full picture.
But there is nothing I can do about that at the moment other than to ask people not to judge me yet and to allow me to deal with this in the right way.
I look forward to the opportunity to deal with these allegations in court.
I respect the legal process and I will not say any more publicly until the case is over.
As Keith Thomas said a few moments ago, I will not be answering any questions about these matters until the case is over. So I ask you to respect the legal process in the same way that we here at the Club are doing.
I wish to thank everyone who has offered me and my family their support this week.
It is really appreciated.

KT didn't say "the club" in one paragraph. I reckon he'll be up for trade.

He says it's a statement by the Port Adelaide Football Club.
By.
The.
Port.
Adelaide.
Football.
Club.
No.
he says:
"Thanks Norts, again, would just like reiterate that this is a slightly different process than what we'd normally conduct ... everyone here understands why"
Point being, this is an out of the ordinary event and time, so normal protocol and standards are out the window.
Then he says the line about this being an official statement from the port Adelaide football club.
There are some nek lev tinfoil hat shit going on in here.

... Following the incident Ryder was charged with an assault and hindering police.
...
In addition to Ryder, SA Police confirmed a 22-year-old man from Western Australia was arrested and charged with resisting police, and a 23-year-old man from Western Australia was arrested and charged with assaulting police.
Note the difference in bold people.

Adelaidenow website is reporting he has been charged with assaulting police.
Again, it's an assault and hindering police. Wording is important.
Assault and hindering police - depending on the severity of the assault that is a hefty fine and community service. Hindering can be standing in the way to block them or grabbing their arm. Even constantly arguing with them can be considered hindering police I believe.
Assault of police? That's big house type stuff and is entirely different.
Today's media statement from KT and PR said "assault on a police officer". Sounds like trouble is a brewing!
He also said he got charged with injuring police. I think he meant hindering.
Until the official legal documents are sighted I don't think anyone really knows precisely whats he been charged with.
