We need a report on how CM's bat went???[/quote]

Yes it went ok MT. I am playing vets over 50's cricket over here. It's been bloody good fun until today. We played North Ringwood, I guess when a team refers to themselves as the super kings, you should realise they are flogs. The entire team was made up of "sub continentals". Their opening bat smashed one through to our keeper, and as you umpire yourself, this ******* curry muncher said not out...cheating pricks! Anyway they rack up 217 from their 36 overs. They have some decent batters. I'm batting first drop and made my retirement score of 40 (actually 44, as I banged a 6 off when on 38) in pretty quick time.... I'm guessed 25 or 30 balls. Other than one bowler the rest were crap. We made their runs with 3 balls to spare... they were the top team up until today.... so in short, yes the old Grey Nic did its thing today!! As an aside the other teams we have played until now have been pretty decent blokes.
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

My old club had a few pull outs on Friday so after a few froffies I suggested to my kids that we fill in for their B Grade, to which they were rapt to have their first game alongside the old man.
I got to bat with both of them, my 14 year old daughter took the wicket of the association leading run scorer and my 12 year old son picked up 3/22 off 7 overs, we lost but it was a great buzz and had been on my bucket list of life.

It's a memory that won't fade at all. I've still got the moment Junior called me by my first name out on the baseball field in my mind.

I thought, did he call me Dad? No, he didn't. Unfortunately it was after an error and there was a "**** sake" in front of it. :lol:

There is no doubt that I am possibly the only person in the world that rates the following;

1) the catchy tune that Target are using for their Christmas commercial this year.

2) The new Air-tasker ads :lol:

After many hours of training, interviews and certification courses Mrs Jase and I finally found out today that we have been approved by the Government to become foster parents...

Absolutely pumped, we were actually approved 4 days after submission but the department forgot to advise Lutheran Community Care so we didn't find out for another 2 weeks...

We also scored an invite to the Christmas party on Saturday...

Just need to meet our little mate/s and begin the actual fostering life...
