SN are going to BL&G next year I’m lead to believe. Time to get a fence and some netball courts!
BL&G wouldn't let them in

That's my query
Apart from making it an even 10 team competition what would the BLG gain from having a club with a known reputation that hasn't been able to modify the behaviours of it's players despite ample warnings?
The issue of juniors and netball on a Saturday is also a key discussion point along with adopting to the community and collegial aspect of Country footy.

Have heard no clearances out of SNFooty Chick wrote:carey wrote:beef wrote:Hearing Salisbury North have been kicked out of the Adelaide footy league.
Meeting at thebby this morning. Anyone know anything?
Correct.
What happens to the players?
I'm trying to get an offical update.
Depending on whether this is permanent or temporary, I gather the leftover players will be free to move to any other club as there's still a week to go before June 30.
I could be wrong though.
Watch this space.

Is that a club directive or league?
I've already lodged 13!

Why would there be no clearances out of SN? There needs to be an official announcement on this situation ASAP. We have points available and would be welcoming

Exactly right!! why would any other league want them in there competition - they have been given warning after warning. If they as a club didn't see this coming they're kidding themselves!
they are a liability to the league and over the last few years there seems to be major incident every couple of months!
Goodbye and good riddance!!

On Wednesday 20 June 2018, Salisbury North Football Club Player Alex Stengle was found guilty of Striking, deemed Intentional – High – High and was subsequently suspended for 8 matches.
As a result, The League Executive have elected to enact the full force of the Terms and Conditions of the Salisbury North Football Clubs (SNFC) Amended Affiliation Agreement with the League.
The relative clauses specifically state:
1. The Salisbury North Football Club (SNFC) is required to submit a bond to the value of $5000 before the SNFC Affiliation is formally accepted by The League though no later than 22 December 2017.
3. Should a player, official, member or supporter of the SNFC be found guilty of any offence considered serious enough in nature but specifically - intentionally striking, head-butting, kicking and or threatening or making contact with an umpire of The League, the SNFC will be expelled from The League.
An approved SNFC Delegation accepted these conditions.
Effective immediately:
a. The SNFC have forfeited the bond of $5000 currently held in The League’s trust.
b. The SNFC in its entirety shall be suspended from the League for the remainder of season 2018.
The SNFC is welcome to re-apply for Affiliation with The League in season 2019.
The wider football community can take great comfort that as elected officials, The League Executive will continue to counsel recalcitrant clubs until it is believed there is little to be gained by expending further resources to which at that point, simply move on and do so in the comfort The Executive and staff have afforded the given club every opportunity to comply with League standards.
The League Executive will allow the Operations team and Rules and Regulations Committee to dissect the impact on the Division 2 Competition as well as promotion and Relegation to which we will advise when clear.
For and on behalf of The League Executive
