So the draw finally on My Cricket! Anyone know how the One day cup will work, got six rounds where the matches normally "double up" with the two day comp. What about the six teams that have the Byes, they used to play the Under 19's to make up the game, but showing as Byes. How will this work??

I imagine finding 6 free sundays for the 19s to play those games is not possible?
Similar situation with the 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade T20s with three teams only playing 2 games

How does the 4th grade comp work?
7 teams play 16 games with two byes and 6 teams play 17 games with 1 bye.
Can't do a table on match points for that. Points ratio?
Club championship calculations.
Bylaws aren't currently setup for this situation.

Or even it up with three rounds where three teams have the bye at once.
- Remove one game per round on teams that are playing each other for a second time.
You would have to either add a round or remove a round for that to work . (4th Grade get the Jan 26th off again and reduced to 18 rounds)

Calm down, they are working on an equalisation formula. Likely end up dividing by games won.

All will be restored by the ever reliable PCC.

Use the old AFL match ratio system!

Surely the 6 bye teams can just play each other on one Sunday? It's not that hard.

I can't believe they have all grades playing on Australia Day.

You would be surprised! Especially amongst the first grade players. The exception is an ashes test and i’ll admit the fact this years test has been confirmed as a day game has probably swung more players towards having the weekend off

Like this idea, would definitely be the fairest.

Better than the ratio system they have recommended to delegates apparently, the Delegates have to approve the final draw so hopefully they get that changed.

Would've thought the lower grade players would appreciate a chance to get away.

Agree with you LM any sport at amateur level programmed to play on a long weekend is silly.

Prospect announced the signing of a former Sri Lankan Test quick today on Facebook. Rumoured to be demanding over $10k a season, that's a big check book to go with Turley's $10k as well.

Had back issues, also been reported in past for being a chucker, action looks a bit suspect.

Spending big to get off the bottom, could put the money towards junior development, but each to their own I suppose.

Did he move to Adelaide and then pick a club or has PDCC actually recruited him to come over?

Can I ask how you put money towards junior development?

I think making your club appealing to parents would be the key, I've been asked to take my kids out there this season, my son was invited out there last season but the coach's philosophy and game day structure was less than appealing, another parent thought the same thing so we both decided against it, we were right in how we thought it would pan out after checking the stats each week.
