Mind you for one of the first times in my life I got sick of beer over the NY period.

But it's summer!

I'm the same with Furphy, had 3 imperial pints of it a few weeks ago and had to switch.

i think Furphy is incredibly overrated!

You can often get a 6 pack of Furphy's for a tenner if you spend a certain amount at BWS. Worth grabbing when you're there to stock up the wine rack. One or two go down just fine out on the patio on a warm evening.

C’mon mate, it’s a good beer to drink with your boyfriend whilst watching the sunset!

x3.

I've found them good if I'm the designated driver, just take 3 or 4 and you don't feel like you want 5 and 6 on the back of them.

It's a shit beer. Has nothing on West End Draught stubbies. Mother's milk.

Can’t vouch for Furphy as a session beer, 99% of my drinking is just a pint or two at the pub, or sitting with a cold one when I get home from work on a hot day, so for what I need them for they go down well. Hollandia or Coopers Lager if I’m having a big day on the piss

I tried Furphy and Iron Jack while flying Tiger to and from Brisbane recently.
Not excited by either.

I have some Sapporo in my fridge at present which I like better.
We spent a week up there. in a nice apartment near Eagle Pier (at the Oaks) at a good "lastminute" price to visit my fiancee's sister who is a TV journo there..

Dan's no longer have the $3.50 Sol long necks but they said they'll honour anyone else's specials.

Yesterday I checked the BWS website where it said they were $3 each or $30 a carton, I rang the nearest store and the lady told me that they only sell them individually, I assured her that their website said differently but she wouldn't budge.

I went back online and ordered one click and collect form her store, I got my order confirmation and went to pick it up on my way home from work.

She told me that it was rude of me and I'd run her out of stock, she was even less impressed when I grabbed another cold one out the fridge but fair's fair.

All I said was "Hey, I didn't want to argue with you about it but if I can get long necks for $2.50 a pop, I'm going to".

It is about this time I would’ve told her to go f#ck herself.

I don't argue with women, I just wanted my beers and to be on my way.

The wife suggested that I hit all of the BWS's up and grab 10 slabs!
