How many times have we said this over the last 5 years?

What's the answer? Do we take a hit like footy clubs do and rebuild by playing a heap of kids to expose them and match harden them?
What else can we do?

Open the cheque book.
Need to pay top dollar for a couple of quality recruits for starters

The ACB must take a fair bit of responsibility for this debacle
Play nothing but T20s for a few months and then straight back into 4 day cricket with Dukes balls on Green Tops
Not completely absolving the Batsmens lack of ability under these conditions but should we expect anything different?
Australian cricket programming has become a complete and utter debacle all in the name of the $$$$ but its rapidly downgrading the standards at the top level.

How does Tom Andrews make runs at district and futures level, yet he goes to shield and looks scared. He has no foot movement and just dabs his hands at it

Spot on.

THE competition from which our Test team is picked has been relegated to the point that it has a 3 month break to allow for fundraising. They are totally to blame.

Too many lefties!
Ball seaming and swinging too much for both teams to handle.
Other than Nielson the other dismissals the batsmen haven't done much wrong.

Finally caught up with Tim Oakley. Umpires at Grade level hardly watch for it, he basically bowls no balls every second ball, even his own club reckon he does! How many wickets he gets with illegal balls would be astonishing! 15 no balls is unacceptable.

WA put on 167 for last wicket, real Redbacks stuff that!

With the Nsw vs Vic game and the Redbacks match, there has been 54 wickets for 613 runs, average of 11. Until they do something about the roads prepared at Grade level this will continue to happen.

Agreed. 15 is a disgrace. I can't work out why you couldn't just move your bowling marker back a little bit (maybe only 15cm) and go from there?

And all the free hits missed in the white ball games.

Same old problem, too many district clubs = too little talent = very poor standard = found out at the next level
