Or were pushed.

Ed & Charlie Curnow are indigenous. Andrew Walker is another long termer.

But I do agree, I think there is something in that line of thinking.

Are the Curnow boys aboriginal? They haven't been involved in any of the Ingenious jumper launches etc that I can see which most players are.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Well... interesting. Now I've 're-looked' the only reference I can see refers to Ed Curnow being indigenous - dates back to when he was on Adelaide's list. The 2018 AFL indigenous map doesn't have him or Charlie on there. So I take that back.

Might still be Aboriginal - who knows the reason they're not on there.. for example Toby Nankervis is Palawa but for some reason he doesn't identify in the AFL.

Didn’t Charlie toss the coin for the indigenous round?

Good win.
I think they’ll ruin the finals chances of a couple of teams on the run home.

Teague doing his chances no harm with another win.
Not sure he’s the answer but not sure who else is either.

Or Judd thinking he is bigger than the club. Why would he even come out and say crap like that?

Because he’s a wanker.
Putting his media gig before his club position.
I’d hate him at my club.

Maybe but how would Teague be feeling right about now?
The bloke has them playing with something we haven’t seen for years and deep down Teague probably knows he isn’t the front runner but imagine hearing your clubs most powerful voice go on radio and not only belittle you but rule you out of a job completely. Judd just needed to STFU and let the season ride out

I think Teague will get the job with Roos as a mentor.

"We're pretty clear on the attributes we want from our next coach and which attributes are more of a priority than others," Judd said on Footy Classified on Monday night.

"We want an experienced coach that can takes us to the next step, we don't want someone with training wheels on.

"He's (Teague) getting some really good experience now… in effect he coaches his own team, but it's not really the same as being an actual senior coach of a football team with the pressure that comes with that."

Judd is right though - we don't want someone who's going to learn on the job. We don't have time to do that, with Curnow, SPS, McKay, Cripps all needing some form of success if they are going to stick around IMO.

I'm not exactly sure what coach we'll get next year but my mind has changed with Teague.

I note the two teams that look to be playing more freely are the two teams under interim coaches. Both sets of players say that they've been freed up. Does that mean we're over-coaching AFL players? I think so!
