Carlton players have said they are enjoying their football more with shorter meetings and just getting on and playing the game.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Is Teague the man for the job?
At this stage I’d prefer him over Voss and Scott.

He's done a lengthy apprenticeship, he certainly has the experience to be next in line, but do you want an insider who is a rookie head coach or do you want someone who is going into it again, perhaps better prepared?

FWIW, I think Teague might get the job.

Won 5/7, both losses by a kick - could’ve easily been 7/7, try telling him then he’s not the man...

Unless we can snare Clarko I’d be prepared to give it to Teague.

It’s hard to know isn’t it.
The players seem to be playing for Teague so he gets a big tick there.

The selection committee at Carlton need to look deeply into appointing Teague, simply to continue the momentum. I know it shouldn't count for much but I think like Roos appointment in Sydney, if we were to instill a Voss, Lyon it will deflate the supporter base and possibly players.

I did see that Teague said that he'd like to stay on to continue building relationships amongst the group even if he didn't get the main job, which I think is great, however a new coach will have his own ways of doing things and may clean out the support staff over the tenure, or like Lyon does, tend to burn through assistant coaches.

If we appoint either of these two I would burn the mother down... Voss has done nothing and Lyon just drains all of the joy out of football...

I'm more than happy for Teague to continue, momentum is golden and we have it at the moment... We are in a reasonably strong position with regards to our list, just need a little more speed on the outside...

Imagine having the same school teacher for 4 or 5 years dribbling the same old shit day in day out

This year especially showing what a new face can do for the players, new system new voice

Should coaches really be in the job longer than 3 or 4 years if zero success

Voss....what has he even achieved to be rated so highly

Scott... did sweet fa at north

Let teague be coach but put some senior ex coaches behind him as assistants

It has to be Teague. We can continue in the direction we're headed.
Last thing we need is another bloody Malthouse, and someone wanting to rebuild.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

That would make Judd look like an idiot since he ruled him out earlier.

Not that I don't think Teague would be a good choice, clearly the players are responding to him.

Exactly, I think Clarko is out of the question, unless he wants a shot at the title of being the best AFL coach of all time.

If it isn't Ratten, it would have to be Teague, I'd be pissed off if I went for Carlton and there was anyone else appointed, there's not a lot going around atm.
