Let’s say there was a national ban on public gatherings of, I dunno, let’s say 5-10 K. The SANFL games might fall under the criteria and could see a resurgence of interest as local AFL fans were starved of action...I’ve personally been sceptical of the media frenzy.. but when professional sports in Europe start to play in empty stadiums its probably time to take it a bit more serious.
Interesting thoughts, Hazy. Yes, if there is a 'floor' imposed on crowds and gatherings then, depending on the length of such a ban, it could translate into an increase in interest in the local product.
Interest in the digital pass, perhaps. All the local action without the exposure to virus vectors!

So you're saying the virus will have no discernable effect on the competition?
