Re: SANFL Clubs
Any financial news on West, South and the Eagles? These 3 have the lowest supporter base as we all know. Are their membership numbers holding up? The Eagles have that day against the Crows that gets numbers so they will take a hit if they go? Not sure if they make much from the day or if they use it as a promo tool.

It has raised over $15k so far including a donation from boof Lehmann
we've now raised over $85,000, via 3 fundraisers.

Strange question. Are you hoping for all them to fall over.Brett wrote:Any financial news on West, South and the Eagles? These 3 have the lowest supporter base as we all know. Re: SANFL Clubs
I think it's a fair question. I'm a member at WWTFC and I love my club but one thing I don't think they have done very well during this period is to communicate with members regarding how they are holding up. Take Centrals for example. They have launched a few fundraisers, I also think they released some kind of online video seeking donations. The Eagles have been pretty well silent aside from an email that came out asking to donate to the Club through an external site. I gave probably the largest donation I have ever made and it would have been nice to be acknowledged.....even to say thanks. But I have only heard crickets from the Club. The other week when i checked the total amount donated to the club through the external website was around $9,000 which isn't much and certainly not enough to keep any Club afloat if things are looking particularly grim. I'd be curious to know what these $$ are being used for.goddy11 wrote:Strange question. Are you hoping for all them to fall over.Brett wrote:Any financial news on West, South and the Eagles? On the other side, I think the podcasts involving interviewing Officials and players that they have started to release is a great initiative. I would be hoping they could track down past players and also interview current players.

Remember hearing Powell on the radio maybe 6 weeks ago saying he was running things solo mostly,Mr Fuller wrote:I think it's a fair question. so I’m sure the Eagles are doing their best to survive like the other 7 clubs.
With socialist distancing, can’t see anything holding up a winter start to Sanfl!???!!
