Well the West Coast just did a big sloppy turd all over the season. No one is beating them. Great. Another Eagles flag.

Carlton football club were the main offender, as we all found out later.
There's always those people in high places that know how to work the system.

I don't think anyone is surprised there was under the table payments being made at any club in the 80's/90's, would have been rife and bar gaining some publicity what does Scott have to gain from doing this? Nought.

Was well known Carey sold his house every 18 months, always seemed to get $500k above the market price, bloody good marketing

Yep, that's like saying Ben Johnson was the only bloke on the gear in the 1988 Olympic 100 m final.

No one was sticking to cap in the late 80s, well maybe St Kilda and Fitzroy....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Correct. Nothing to see here, everyone was rorting the salary cap back then. Nice try, Don.

Would be great if we can get some games without Adelaide and Port at the Oval I reckon.

Get every Adelaide based North and Melbourne fan along, or Hawthorn and Geelong, would make for a decent atmosphere compared to those games on the Gold Coast or in Cairns, the SA based fans would be far more passionate.

The SA government won’t allow teams to hub here so teams aren’t going to want to FIFO continually.
WA and QLD are allowing hubs so it makes more sense to stay in those states.
The QLD grounds might be a bit chopped up though in a few weeks
