And then there are the other peculiar remarks.

Wrong do not put words in my mouth i have never said WU HU FLU is nothing i have provided facts stats and data and its up to everyone to interprut how they like.

Now he is being critiqued by the media and lot of other people even the Labor party on his performance.

But i will reiterate once again from the experts FACT 92 to 95 % of people who catch this Flu have have MILD SYMPTOMS and RECOVER some say its up to 99%.

FACT Dopey Dan did not listen to his experts and used a dodgy security company which has now sparked the increase in positives and deaths.

FACT most of the deaths in Vic are the elderly.

Fact the Vic Government is incompetent.

Fact the buck stops with Dan the Commo Man he is reponsible for the death of the elderly in aged care homes/facilities.

I agree with most of what you are saying above, but here are some more facts for you, as you like to deal in facts:-

Corona Virus Death Toll in Victoria is now 147

Road Death Toll in Victoria for 2020 to date is now 133.

I’m still confused Apache.

You raise how “mild” and “low risk” the virus is but you’re ripping shreds off the way it’s been handled?

What would you have liked done? Do you think quarantining and social distancing are worthwhile for such a “low risk” flu?

As a matter of interest do you have the road toll for this time last year?

I would expect a weak negative correlation between the virus toll and this year's toll since lockdown would see less people on the roads. Last year's road toll is independent and ought to be a better yardstick.

Can you add suicides to the list
And for a bit of perspective lets add the numbers that starve to death worldwide everyday. If only they found a cure for that, but that doesnt line Bills pockets, nor does it affect anyones lives in the western world so i guess it doesnt exist.
Perhaps the government could make smoking illegal, that would save lots more lives than covid deaths.
Or maybe make alcohol illegal, yet again that would save more lives than covid deaths.

So having thought about all that, when does the time come for people to start taking responsibility for their own health, you know, when you like choose whether you will smoke or drink. If you are so worried about catching covid, stay home, be a hermit, isolate yourself, wait for Bill to "cure" you. If it doesnt bother you get out and live your life.

Does anyone know of any links between the aged care homes having compulsory flu shots back in March and the spike in deaths in aged care now? That would be crazy wouldnt it?

These are not my stats these are gleaned off the net.

Once again 95% of cases get mild symptoms and recover.

Yes quarantining the aged care facilities /nursing homes saves lives

Yes quarantining overseas visitors to stop the spread to the elderly like me.

Yes policies and protocols that have worked in SA

Comrade Dan and his health minister were way way behind in implementing good strategies the horse has bolted and he should be sacked.

Neither is covid, just read what they classify as a close contact. you will not catch it walking past someone in a shopping centre, mask or not

I have posted previous stats on 2017 Flu and 2019 Flu and i try to be optimistic that we do not reach those levels of 2017.

So you read the forum selectively, That makes sense.

Your fellow Centrals Mate Daisy compared Covid to the road Toll. He has now added other criterea rather than concede the point. But rather than do the research himself, he asks me to do it. Then again, he gave me the directive to drive around Melbourne a few weeks back and report back to him with my findings. Perhaps it's you blokes that have been hit hard, got up, and the been hit again?

Smoking and drinking aren't either are they?

The covid deaths are on top of road deaths, suicides, cancer etc.
Covid means, when its out of control, medical staff have to choose who to keep alive.
What a terrible decision for these people to make.

I was told when it was at its peak in italy, medical staff couldn't treat anyone over 60.

Meh its only a cold!
