Round 12 North V Centrals Saturday 1410

Postby DOC » Mon Sep 07, 2020 1:09 pm

Centrals stuck at it all day and get the choccies over Norwood.

North to make a change in the big man department if comments on the Eagles game are accurate, as they nearly always are on here....

North need to win to keep their noses in front for the double chance.

North for me.

Allmond receives a match for a striking offence but can take a reprimand leaving him available to play.

Watching the footage he is very lucky that they rated it as careless.

Agree, deliberate action that deserved a week, weak as PI55 by MRP and Allmond!

And people wonder why I am so negative.
This 2020 season is the gift that just keeps on giving.

Definitely looked deliberate, it seems that striking is OK but a hard tackle isn't ok.

Initial contact to the chest and no damage done is what saved him.

Let that be a lesson. If you’re going to intentionally elbow someone in the head, make sure you brush their chest first. You’ll be sweet.

I'm surprised Robbie Young was not cited on an number of offenses. He looked very wound up.

Probably could have its own thread but today (10th) is the 20th Anniversary the CDFC's first Premiership, defeating the Eagles in front of just under 35,000.

A big four quarter effort this week is in order! :D
