Herein lies half the problem - majority of people have been very good and compliant the whole way.. and the reward for it? Add more restrictions, see how far they can push it.

**** bet that made him sleep better. 8)

Doubt he even saw it but I think it's nice to pass on good feedback when someone is doing an exceptional job. Having dealt with Mr Hurley who owns the Ark I'm sure he'd be grateful for any feedback as have places I've worked at, its always has been a big issue in hospitality.

I have no issues with anything being re-opened.. I don't even mind some of the "safety measures".

My biggest gripe at the moment is there seems to be endless recommendation, requirements and safety measures constantly coming out.. without any genuine justification as to why. What is wrong with what has already been occurring?

Take SACA for instance.. this year each captain needed to be 'covid captain' and complete infection control training and carry sanitiser.. no problems, that's easy. Now we need a covid captain and a covid marshall.. we can only have one scorer and the preference is e-scoring instead of the book... ok I can live with that.. restrictions around no high 5s or contact, umpires must bring a coin and captains remain 1.5m away for the toss.

Players cant give hats/jumpers etc to umpire - must be put behind the keeper like you would a helmet.
Penalties for using sweat/saliva etc on the ball.
Regulations around how the ball must be treated and maintained.

Rules for the sake of rules.

Do the AFL still scrub each ball when they go out of bounds?

Cmon mate isnt the real issue afternoon tea being banned? Im seriously considering not playing
Also no shared drinks, whats the penalty now for the 1st dropped catch?
I went to training the other day, didnt touch a ball, had a bat and that was it. At the end of training some wanker who obviously thinks he is the police now tried to tell me to sanitize my hands, sorry mate im all good.

Did see picks of the Bridgeway on the weekend for a Zep Boys show, bar stools everywhere, I guess it is what it is for the moment at least.

Outdoor gigs should be reasonably normal I would hope over summer.

The current Rosemont I thought he was talking about, I thought the Venue was on the other side of the road next to or near the Crazy Horse?

Had a narrow set of stairs? (Which I may have fallen down from the top and ended up on the road with my mouth torn)

Nah, the Venue was on the other side of Morphett St (same side of Hindley St) near the Crazy Horse. I spent many a Saturday night there, was a regular stop of bus tours too.

From midnight tomorrow, patrons at outdoor licensed venues will be allowed to stand while consuming alcohol.

A cap of 150 guests remains on private functions such as weddings, but guests will now be able to dance and drink while standing up.

Dancing will remain off limits outside of private functions.
