Not there to deal with the stuff they produce on a weekly basis, so we decided to go to the pub before something serious happened.

We've put a report in and will leave it at that.

Genuinely feel for the other 9 sides in LO1's who have to put up with the dribble that is produced by MSCC on a weekly basis

Was much better when they had a compulsory umpire for all of their games.

Agree but equally why should every other club have to fork out the $120 or whatever it is because 1 club can't behave appropriately.
It's time the clubs put together a petition and told the league MSCC are no longer welcome in ATCA.

They are always on their best behaviour when they have an umpire. Maybe the ATCA should send out a random person out to watch. Hide behind a tree or something.

All of the clubs need to get together and just refuse to play them.

They live for cricket.

Pretty hard for them if they have nobody to play.

Good to see the two promoted teams doing well early. Good for the competition.. If results go there way this round it will certainly make it hard for any team to be 2,3 or even 4 wins behind the 8 ball before Christmas.

Flinders Park v Trinity OS - Would expect Flinders to win this needing only 8 wickets with 260 to play with.
Pooraka v Reynella - Depends on two Pooraka batsman getting them home.

Would be a huge statement if they received 18 forfeit wins in the minor round, and then that repeated in the semi and grand final!

Having an umpire would make it enjoyable to play games against MSCC

Some incredible individual performances in the latest round. The Reynella boys probably thought they were a chance having Pooraka 2 for 11 after making a modest 170, but if you don't get Mark Hanson you ain't going to win. His 159no was nearly enough to beat Reynella on his own. At Scotch college, Ingle Farm captain Chris McLean made a brilliant 186, which was 6 more than OSCA could manage. Marion were able to restrict PAOC to 180. They were the only team to beat Princes last year, so they might have thought they could repeat that. However, big Nick Clayfield was having none of it. Bowling unchanged with Jack Dent they skittled Marion for 69 with Clayfield taking an amazing 8 for 36.

The match of the round was at Para Hills, who were struggling at 7/94 against SPOCs 143. The Hornets needed a big last wicket stand to get the first innings points and finished up with outright points after SPOC set them a target in the second innings.

In other games, Flinders Park were too strong for Trinity and remain unbeaten. They must think this A1 caper is pretty easy. Grange were too good for Walkerville

Certainly seems like that's the result.

No cricket for two weeks.

A lot of T20s were scheduled for tomorrow night.

I assume the next two weeks of saturday games will be called a draw, though the prof has suggested if they can ring it off quickly they might reduce the 2 weeks.
Can't see the turf making clubs pull together a team at short notice if the restrictions get lifted on say Thursday next week.
