COVID-19 Update
Due to the current COVID-19 cluster we have been advised by SA Health that one of our school community members has been in close contact with a current positive case. The school community member has been tested and the results are negative.
Out of an abundance of caution SA Health has asked members of our school community who were in close contact with this person, to self-isolate until the 27th November.

Roma Mitchell Secondary College.
We have been informed by the Communicable Disease Control Branch of SA Health that a student at Roma Mitchell Secondary College has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Department for Education has enacted its COVID-19 protocol and will shut the site for a minimum of 24 hours. Families have been contacted and students will be released in a manner agreed with parents/carers.
Students have been instructed to go home and stay there until further instructions.

Mawson Lakes School and Preschool site closed to all services.
On the advice of SA Health, a large number of people who attended the Mawson Lakes School or co-located community early learning centre between 11 and 13 November are required to self-isolate for the 14 days up to and including 27 November.
As a result, the site will be closed to all services until Monday 30 November.

3 new cases, all linked back to the family.
So no community transmission as yet.

It's not unusual for Indian families to live together including extended family.

My first house was rented out - 3 bedrooms (4 if you use the study) and had 14 people living there lol.

I've always wondered about that sort of housing situation.

How do folks get any, um, privacy...?

I'm surprised the virus could live with overpowering stale curry smell in the house. Not a good smell in Indian households and I love my curries.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

4000 people are currently considered contacts and are in isolation and are being monitored daily for symptom onset.

This is excellent, that's an amazing system that in 48 hours can identify, contact and monitor some 4000 people.
