I wasn’t aware they were open. I thought all bakeries were told they were not to open to public but could still operate if they had catering contracts

Can anyone explain why Farmers markets arent allowed to open?
Absolutely smashing the small business whilst big supermarkets price gouge and opens 24/7.

I guarentee any fruit and veg at a farmers market has passed through way less hands than supermarket produce. its also outdoors, alot safer than the indoor environment

My local butcher and bakery were open this afternoon. Was more than happy to give them (both family-run small businesses) my cash rather than spend that $40 or so at the Woolies next door.

I hope we have no new cases and they relax some of the restrictions for the weekend.

Some talk that the exercise ban could lift in a few days with no cases. It might go to a Victoria style radius and solo thing.

Considering its ******* spastic to begin with this would be good for people who use exercise to help with there mental health.

Im fine with them allowing exercise provided they don't go there ya go, we gave you something, now we can maintain all other restrictions for another 8 days to see the impacts of letting you out of the house for 1 hour a day.

If thats the approach they are going to take I'd prefer to see the 6 days out in the world's harshest restrictions then be done with them.

6 days is more than long enough to check for gaps in the "double ring fence". Add in anyone else you need to on top of the 3200 that are already quarantining and let the remaining 1.4million of us back to our usual lives.

I take covid very seriously, but FMD. They’d want some cases tomorrow or they are going to start to look very very silly!

Could have always done this better. The hard lockdown is just easier to police.

Let's see what the next few days bring. Only 5 more days.

Can guarantee they'll try & claim credit for immediately beating the cluster in a world 1st while Koutsantonis will come out saying Labour would have done it better without the disruption

6 days man. Not the end of the world. Have a BBQ and a few reds and chill out. It's all good. I'm with Marshall on this one. Haters gonna hate.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.
