If money was the major factor they'd both be playing country footy.

Club has announced the menzels have moved to wwt.
More likely to be about a coaching role as ft emploment for daniel. Troy obviously wanting to play with his brother. 4th club in 5 yrs for troy...nice!

Yeah, can't wish them all the best, hope they don't play a game. The SANFL just keeps on giving. At least I won't have to worry about all the concessions the afl teams get come finals, we wont be there.

I think Thommo wants to invest in up and coming players, rather than spend too much money on players with 1 or 2 years left in them..............that's if they don't break down.
The very reason why Butcher went.

100% There hasn't been loyalty for at 20 years .

For any Central supporter to scream salary cap , you should take up comedy.

But many of your clubs supporters wanted him back.? I remember saying Centrals should look forward and not back and a few had a crack at me.

As it stands right now Centrals are lost .

This is entirely about money and eagles need to be transparent with this deal.
Daniel wanted more than the Dogs could offer under the salary cap. And they had a couple of jobs lined up that couldn't work due to Daniels current circumstances.
How did eagles manage to fit him into the cap when we couldnt?
Unless they got him some employment then they have lots of questions to answer.

Potentially they have taken less to be a million miles closer to a premiership flag

I just find it funny that when we used to pick up other club players in the 2000’s it was all about winning that elusive flags

When other clubs now do it us it’s purely money

As previously mentioned both could earn bucketloads more playing country if they really wanted

I’m led to believe by a country club who did speak to them that this is part of the Andrews fall out.

Spot on. And this is what the club don’t want people knowing.

How's the sour grapes of announcing where they have gone for 2021, yet the other club hasn't said a word....

Central have really lost the plot in the past couple of years.

I am sure thats part of it.
Matt knight will also follow them. All three enjoyed Joffa at the helm.
At the presentation it was clear that Troy had a lot of time for Joffa.

Conversely Fraser Fort and Boydie both made strong references against joffa. And there appears to be many others who agreed.
He definitely polarised the Club.

I understood that one Menzel was pulling a lot of strings with Jeff that Paul wouldn't tolerate, no idea if it contributes to the departure or not.

It's still disappointing to lose quality players and people, it's only a year ago I'd heard one express a desire to captain our club and that excited me.

Other than Boydy and to a lesser extent Hoskin and Jenner, I can't recall too many good players we've got from other clubs. We've lost plenty.
