Burns has to show some balls here, tell the selectors straight out he is not to be selected for the test team due to his poor form

No, it doesn't work that way. It's Trevor Hohns who has to show some balls. If they pick Burns they should resign en masse when he fails in Adelaide.

It's an 18 man squad, Abbott was never gonna get a gig and neither will Henriques, the only two he'd be ahead of are the two ruled out.

True, but he is still in the mix...... the old story you get a baggy green, when they give you a baggy blue.

Great foresight CM haha!

I read Henriques comes in as cover for Cameron Green and Green is making 'steady progress' from his mild concussion.

Yes he does. That was not my point. My point being when you’re in the NSW team, your never far away from a call up.

Where did you read or hear about Rogers rooting for Burns?
I read an article yesterday where Rogers commented about Burns current situation and I wouldn't say he was rooting for him. Like usual with Rogers I thought his comments were measured and on the money.

Thoughts on Smith taking on captaincy in any form for Australia.

My personal opinion is no.

I’m a no as well.
Did his time so he can play but I won’t be supporting a team captained by him.

Langer confirms that Green will make his debut if cleared by the medical team.
Harris to open with Wade by the looks as he said Lab will stay at 3

Dear me, two lefty's, one coming off a match saving 26 & 5, the other isn't a recognized opener, does Wade have the concentration to be able to handle Bumrah with the new pink pill?

I think the toss is pretty important here and a lot rides on Lab & Smith.
