Hopefully the Aussies can get a quick wicket. I'm looking forward to Pant taking on the Aussie bowlers.

Yep, big time!! But he is the best all rounder since Keith Miller

Hate the way we build up young blokes so they have so far to fall, has a bloody long way to go!!

But by Christ, it looks like he’s just rolling up at 80% and still he’s bowling 138, 143, 139 and 140!

Push through the crease son and follow thru to to the keeper..

He’s got some talent but as you all say let him develop in 3-4 years time we could have a beauty!

I'd say Green bowls within himself because of his previous injuries.

cokadonkeytoo wrote:Not sure if its been mentioned previously but just turned the channel to check the score in the NZ vs PAK game and was weird to see the Pakistan players using sweat from the face to shine the ball. Funny how quickly we become accustomed to things. Looked completely out of whack. Is it only banned in selected countries??

Strange isn't it, we're still not allowed to shine the ball with face sweat here in Australia as far as I'm aware?

Thats my point he's bowling within himself but still pushing them down at 140 km/h

Imagine if he stretched out for four overs?

As it has been said already, lets not build him up to much and let him develop naturally without putting unreal expectations on him
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

When he first played Shield cricket he was more of a bowling allrounder and took 5 wickets on debut. Had to concentrate on batting when he had back problems. Hopefully his body holds up and we see the best of him, but he has time on his side.

Time will tell if he can become really strong and fit enough to trust his body so he can really charge in and crank the pace up even more.

Agree with Ambays
Let Mr Green settle into test cricket
It might well be a 10 test or 2-3 series investment
The media has built him up to be the next Keith Miller , but aiming a bit high at this stage

I think he will be a very good test cricketer
I would say somewhere between a Keith Miller and Shane Watson player
Just needs time at this level

Another dropped catch.
Our fielding has been deplorable and we fully deserve to get soundly beaten this test

total turnaround isnt it, India were horrid in Adelaide yet yesterday took everything and fielded brilliantly, Aussie very sloppy today, one thinks they have come into this test all up each other thinking how easy is this going to be, can see them getting thumped here
