terrible 2 day performance by the Aussies

Lets not kid ourselves, the Indian woeful fielding in the 1st test, had it been better could have been alot closer result.

Our batting to be honest is crap, only thing that has kept us in games has been our bowlers, India playing it very smart here and going to wear them into the ground, lead close to 100 with plenty left in the shed you would think, they get a lead of 200+ tomorrow i can see an innings defeat coming up

Aussies fell short in overs somehow by 9.3 overs, not as though a multitude of wickets fell

Poor day for Australia without doubt.

Some credit to the Curry Munchers (don’t worry, they call us Kangaroos) Rahane showed our blokes how to construct a test innings on a difficult deck. I wouldn’t mind Jadeja in our team, can play.

The days of pea hearted Indian sides are long gone.

The likes of Kohli, Rahane, Pant, Jadeja have a lot of grit about them. Our bowling is world class but our batter lineup simply won’t put enough runs on the board.

Hope we can bat some time in the second innings and at least make their bowlers earn the victory.

Well played India, in particular Rahane of course who after making one of the biggest f**k ups you will see by running out Kohli in the first test responds in the best way possible, that is massive.
Good contributions from the guys around him as he put on 52 with Vihari, 57 with Pant and now the big one with of 104 with Jadeja. Wish Australia could of done something similar!

You have to feel for our bowlers, I thought they bowled well enough, kept a pretty tidy line and length but it's always going to be hard when you get rolled in the first innings for an under par score and then have to try to bowl well and put pressure on the opposition top order whilst have little scoreboard pressure, plus have 4/5 catches dropped.
Really need the batting group to pull their fingers out if we are any chance of winning or saving this match!

Silly running from India. Looked a harsh call from the third umpire though.

Law 29 states that the 'wicket is put down if a bail is completely removed from the top of the stumps'.

So the bail has no longer to be touching either stump for a batsman to be given out, on my reading.

Given that Rahane was in his crease in the following frame, I think he should've been given the benefit of the doubt.
