Clients at Airport give us (2) a hamper each year.
This year it was was a portable bbq which i initially thought was a beer bucket. Filled with pretzels, nuts, oil, bbq sauce, crackers, after dinner mints, thai green curry.
Very cool!

Getting to the age where you get more stuff for around the home than gifts for you individually.

Got a new front tyre for my bike, outside cafe umbrella, angle grinder (never owned one and keep thinking of stuff I can rip apart now :D ) and a $50 voucher from my 17yo which will no doubt go on a carton and he will drink over half of it

Just junk I don't need mostly as has been the case since I hit my teens.
But one bottle of gold label Remy Martin Cognac brightened my day.

Oh and just before Christmas a neighbour donated some outdoor furniture he has had in his shed for years to use under the deck cover I'd just put in. It is a solid jarrah eight person setting in good condition. (His new lady objected to it because he owned in originally with his ex-wife, but he had been reluctant to part with it because of the quality - now he can pop over and share a drink with us and sit on it.)

Carton of beer and socks.
Feeling a bit ripped off as I'm getting the missus a new Mazda 3 GT.
But getting my car back will be like a present even though I'll have to find something to do with the moped.

My partner bought me an Oyster experience at Coffin Bay for us to do together some time in the next 12 months, and I got a canvas painting made by my 6yo. son (entirely his choice mind you), which is by far the best Christmas present I have ever received. Bloody sensational.

Hope you all had a special time with loved ones, which is the best gift of them all.

Mate sent me a photo on the weekend of some Oyster dish he and his missus were sharing at Coffin Bay, looked sensational and he claimed it the best he'd ever had.
