None of those are studies from peer reviewed medical journals. The HCQ Recovery Study used a gold standard methodology and supersedes any of the work conducted prior including the Lancet study mentioned in the Guardian article.

Peer review: a flawed process at the heart of science and journals

Peer review and the publication process with experimental repetition is the only source of substantiated evidence available. It is important to understand it's strengths and weaknesses for assessing validity of papers (ie. predatory pay-for-play journals exist - how do you identify those? how do you identify bogus data and papers?).

Well given Canada with a population of 37 Million has had over 530 000 reported cases compared to our 29 000 and 14000 deaths compared to our 908 (source WHO epidemiological situation report 29/12/2020) their need is clearly greater than ours - arguably due to their geography.

No I don't take the all the WHO data as gospel but for two advanced Western civilised countries with similar universal health systems (federally funded state/province run) I am confident in theirs and our data being accurate within 95% confidence intervals.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

6 months is a long time in COVID world. And according to timeframes, we'll only have vaccinations for 20% of Australians in the first half of 2021.

There is a link in this article to notifiable diseases in the UK, government official site.
Just 13781 cases in the UK and Wales for the whole of 2020, ill say it again that is cases, not deaths.
Sure is the greatest hoax ever pulled on mankind.

What's the point of that group?

I read through some stuff and it was interesting but even with the first post that Days has referenced there wasn't a source for it.

Not only would you have to be a moron to reference a Facebook conspiracy page but you would leap to the front of the line if you didn't actually understand the data you were referencing.

1 in 5 Californians tested in the last 48 hours are COVID positive. 1. In. 5.

Californian Emergency Services personal have been told not to transport older cardiac patients or people with a lower chance of survival as the hospitals are already over loaded with patients.

But it's all fake, so that's good news.

From someone who works in Health, our whole National COVID-19 strategy is about avoiding that. Plans have been made but no one wants them to be implemented. Lets stop it from getting that bad.

The alternative double the GST or apply a COVID levy that's double the Medicare one so we can cope with the demand.

What's better? wearing a mask, practicing's good hygiene, contact tracing, a vaccine, and short term lockdowns, or an increase in taxes??
