Man charged for allegedly threatening to kill Daniel Andrews

A man will front court after allegedly threatening to kill Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews in a handful of menacing emails sent as the state emerged from a three-month lockdown.

Late last year, the Fixated Persons Investigation Unit of NSW Police commenced an investigation after a complaint from Mr Andrews’ office about an email containing a death threat from a Nimbin-based man.

Following inquiries, police in early December raided a home at Nimbin and seized a number of electronic devices, a computer, a tablet and a mobile phone for forensic examination.

The occupant, 53-year-old Marco Faccio, was arrested and taken to Lismore Police Station, where he was charged with use carriage service to threaten to kill and two counts of use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

Explains a lot.

Yes this nutter should face court for threat to kill.

Also in my opinion Dirty Comrade Dan should face court for the death of over 800 elderly Victorians due to his inept handling of the Security debacle jobs for the boys and also for the lying and non disclosure of who was responsible these morons/politicians all had selective amnesia at this so called farce of a hearing :Hangman:

RC deemed Aged Care disaster a federal responsibility.

Where has the RC said that?

The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety confirmed that the federal government did not have a specific pandemic plan for the aged care sector. “There is a clear need for a defined, consolidated, national aged care COVID-19 plan.”

I read the Report when it came out

You said the RC deemed the Federal Govt were “responsible” for the “disaster“ when responding to Apaches comment about Andrews responsibility for the deaths of over 800 elderly Victorians
They have never deemed that anyone was “responsible“ for the “disaster”. In fact the Commissioners went to great lengths to avoid placing blame on anyone. It’s a lie

Morrison himself admitted that Aged Care was a Commonwealth responsibility. There was no pandemic plan for Aged Care.

That said, The Commonwealth Government headed by Scott Morrison is responsible for the aged care system in Australia, Age care falls under the department of Health headed by Greg Hunt.

So what. I’m talking about the deceitfulness of the statement: “RC deemed Aged Care disaster a federal responsibility” which they did not.

That line is a standard Andrews Govt PR deflection strategy and it’s a black & white lie

Its called hand balling lets blame Canberra for a state FAARK UP .

Dopey Dans lack of checks and balances when hiring the security company is well documented no tenders or scrutiny involved ultimately Dan is responsible also the lack of advice from his health department regarding implementing procedures and policy in aged care facilities fail.

Here in SA not one death in aged care facilties because the state and aged cared facilities acted swiftly.

This is not about politics its about INCOMPETENCE 800 elderly people died on his watch.
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

It's not deceitful.

RC states that Aged Care is a Commonwealth responsibility and that there was no pandemic plan in place for Aged Care. Conclusion: Aged Care disaster a Federal responsibility.

It's not that hard.

State Government was not responsible for implementing a pandemic plan within Aged Care facilities that were under Federal care.

State-run aged care—which operates under the Safe Patient Care Act 2015 - had recorded no deaths as of late last year,

If the victorian police let a mass murderer out, he then walked into a nursing home and killed 50 people.
Is it the federal government's fault as they are in charge of aged care?
Or the victorian's who let the gun man out?

Getting back to covid,
It's all well and good to say the federal government should have had a plan in place to stop it running through the nursing homes, but equally if the victorian government didn't let it out of hotel quarantine it wouldn't have been an issue.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

The first bit is called false equivalence.

The second bit is passing the buck for failing to implement a pandemic plan for Aged Care, which also claimed lives in NSW following the initial outbreak around Ruby Princess.

Also, a year on and Covid has escaped HQ in several states now (waiting on NSW to disclose their source).

Would seem a degree of blame can be apportioned to both the feds and local government, probably then just gets aimed at whomever is in one's sights?

Somewhat.

The real question* is, why were the inadequacies of a pandemic plan in Aged Care not pursued with the same fervor by the media as say, the inadequacies of Vic contact tracing capabilities.

*rhetorical question, the answer is obvious

It's a strange because we have all levels of government stuffing up and we seem surprised by this.

I mean Feds, State or Local. Who of which actually filled anyone with confidence leading up to the pandemic?
