It's only the WA Premier who really goes over the top. My brother is in Mildura as we speak about to head home and he's been through regional Victoria all this week, he's free to come back in without testing or isolating as he's not been in the greater Melbourne metro area.

Just called and told my brother about this, he'd just got out the shower in his Ballarat hotel and is about to get his arse in his car and head for Naracoorte.

Said he was just about to open his first CC and Dry so was pretty happy I called when I did.

Regional is OK isn't it, or has he been in Melbourne?

I’m in Warrnambool as we speak and seriously contemplated heading to the Mount tonight more so as there will be a far more thorough screening process from tomorrow which in turn would make crossing the border a lot more timely process. Luckily I’ve only been regional, however with what has transpired today it’s going to be interesting when I cross 2pm tomorrow

He'd been in Greater Melbourne so he's tested days 1,5 and 12 and is into 14 days of self isolation.

*EDIT*

He's been tested today, has to isolate until he gets a negative result, so all going well is out and about tomorrow but still has to get tests done day 5 and 12.

Had a wedding on the weekend where 50% of the people would have been from Vic. My sister in law & her husband live in Pakenham and were classed as non metro when they arrived. They expected that they would need to test and isolate on Friday when they arrived before the results came back but apparantley in SA Pakenham is classed as non metro. Yet my brother in law & his girlfriend who live together in Geelong, one got told they are ok and the other got told to get tested and isolate despite living together. Absolute shambles.

You'd think they'd now have the processes in place to be clear on the conditions of entry and communicate those conditions to the people on the border crossings instantly. There shouldn't be any he said / she said.

My brother said the copper he spoke too at the Naracoorte crossing was a right prick about it.

I'm not sharpest tool in the shed with this sort of crap but I think if the AO wasn't being played you'd already be in lockdown.
