I think that’s the fourth ruckman south have lost to the AFL

Rumour has it that Peter Darley has spoken to 2 AFL Clubs in recent days...

Kind of felt that would be the case, not sure how the club thought they would pick up players in mid Feb, surely any player with any talent is already locked and loaded and doing a pre season with their club for 2021.

Reminded me a lot of my English football team West Ham, right when season tickets go on sale apparently we are in for all sorts of wonder players and then a month into sales somehow we manage to not land a single one of them :D :D :D :D

South have signed Sam Gadden from Sydney Swans.

Gadden was in the Swans academy and played in their NEAFL side.

Sam is a 197cm 95kg KPP who has also played in the ruck.

Gadden has pleaded with the club to only refer to him as a ruckman.

South are have training with them former College basketballer Oliver Megins.

Megins was a first 18 footballer at school but gave football away to persue basketball at Notre Dame.

Oliver is a handy 205cm and 110 kg.

He too want's to be referred only as a ruckman.

The SFL's leading goal kicker Daniel Nobes has decided to give league footy a crack at South.

Nobes who has kicked over a hundred goals at both Christies Beach and Waikerie is 192 cm and 90 kg.

Nobes has suggested to the club that he goes very well in the ruck and that just kicking goals is too one dimensional.

Good to see SAFC being proactive in searching for a replacement for Hunter. Hopefully at least one can stick around.
Anyone know how old Nobes is? Hopefully he can make the step up and provide much needed help for Sam Overall.
