Good effort to get 9 wickets in two sessions on that pitch, just needed to get Marsh quicker

Was a great final ball of the match by Sayers, that could have popped up anyway. Every player around the bat and it falls safely  Sums up the Redbacks season!

Credit to WA for the declaration, set up an exciting finish.

In today's other completed Shield match Victoria held on for a draw against NSW. They finished at 4/270, skipper Pete Handscomb made 124*.

These games are essential to our test side.

It's good to have them back.

Hindsight is wonderful, but, at the time I did think we should have more around the bat and not have 5 slips. A great effort to take 9 wickets though.

There's a lot for us to like though, a glimmer of hope with some new names in there.

Credit to Grant, 4 decent scalps in the 2nd dig, Hunt's knock in the first along with his fielding efforts, Harry silencing the safootynet critics, Lehmann looking good in the first dig.

We wanted changes, SACA gave them to us, hopefully we can round out the remainder of the season to install some confidence and game time into some players for next season.

Hatzoglou is a 20/20 specialist, that's it. Not up to this level. Was a weird selection!
