Couldn't really do anything else with the timing and I just like rehashing that term. :D

At least this one has seen the inside of a football club though.

Adelaide has posted its first deficit since 2014 after a COVID-affected 2020 that has pushed the club $4.5m in debt.

Not a good result but expected with so much income raised on GameDay by spectators

The Club’s statutory loss was $2,843,520

Shows how much Port/Crows/SACA/SANFL are tied into SMA revenue. Until they can get past these COVID restrictions Id suggest there will still be pain into the future.

Has he ever been in the leadership group?

In 2020 he wasn't, nor in 2019 when they had co-captains and 5 beneath them ( of which Douglas and Jenkins are now gone ), not in it in 2018 or 2017.

Doedee is the one in waiting behind Sloane and it will be good timing, one or two more for Sloane and Doedee at 24 now will be ready to take a new group into the future.

If today is any indication we are in for a very long season, bottom 2 at best.

Crows are bottom 4 and probably bottom 2 without any doubt. Not much is new there, except a few of the young players really not showing alot.

Port will be around abouts, still not sure they can get it done at the end of the year, but they'll be there.

The game today just showed a good side v a shit side.
