I think it's unlikely, but, it might happen in the next year or two. They've got an extended stint at the bottom in front of them so while the average Crow hasn't had their faith tested just yet it will be in the next 24 months.

Fortunately I had 45 years of experience of having faith tested by barracking for South to deal with this

In my view, the club is finally paying for a lot of mistakes over the last few years but I have Paul Keating in my mind saying “This is the recession we needed to have” to keep me going.

I quite looking forward to see a new group of players hopefully come together as a team than just seeing the same old players every year, make the finals but fails as they don’t play well when opposition play intense football.

But if it is fails, there is always Netflix to keep me busy so as Doris Day would say, Que Sera, Sera

With saying that, my view during the last year, is if you can watch stuff at home then do it so until I get the vaccine , I will be watching it on TV and not risk it

Crows would be pretty happy with the Laird and O'Brien deal.

At a guess I suppose they top end the contract heavily as they don't currently have that A+ high money demanding player. At the back end lower the salary in the hope some of the young draft picks are becoming stars.

I would of thought this would have been the easiest negotiation in Crows history.

Absolutely
I’m surprised he didn’t wait and hold out for more coin given his importance to the side.

Im guessing extended job security in these uncertain times was of great value to him.

Who knows what the future holds.....if clubs are battling in a couple of years time the salary cap may have to be reduced. ;)

For O'Brien? Carrying the Crows on his shoulders until they find another ruckman.
