You could be right, they had a pretty handy side with the players whuffer mentioned, it was pretty short-lived though.

These two clubs have met twice in GF's in the past decade with a 1 all record, both matches were at Salisbury West.

The way that Angle Vale decimated Westies in round 13 could have an affect on this big clash, both sides have some genuine match winners and I'm going to have to back my earlier in the season statement and suggest that Andy Carman will be the difference as I think Angle Vale will thake the chocolates in a close one.

Units in a canter as Woody unleashes with the bat and ball.

Keylock and Russ to score big, so too will Jim if he's allowed to play, would be good to see him fire up and have a bowl.

Harris and young Sammy Harnas to guide Two Wells to victory as both will clean up with bat and ball.

The experienced Westies in the only legitimate LO GF.

Sammy is a gun. Dominates u16s and seniors. They say he let them rip at 130 clicks last year at the jets before he had a shoulder recon. Now bowls mediums but the action looks like it could let rip.

they lost to Brahma Lodge B grade in Grade 2, 10 years ago after pretty much going undefeated all year. going by results and their team the drought should end.

Great lad too, he was always a couple of years older than his age, he was a solid half back in the 17's while he was still playing 14's, he's was always pretty sharp with the ball and could bat, gets injured a fair bit, it's what happens when you're a lad and have an older brother.

Yeah they’ve lost 3-4 A grade grand finals but haven’t won since 2006 or something like that.. hopefully the drought ends but cricket is a very funny game! Gonna be a battle either way, both teams have very handy players just depends who’s stars perform better across the 2 days..

NEK not winning through to the Div 3 GF probably means they get relocated from Div 1 now.
Units and Craigmore will go up. So PG might be lucky and stay in

They were always gonna get relegated from Grade 1 anyway, if their Grade 3 side had won the flag they would've stayed in Grade 3 still.

Two up, 2 down - i'm hearing that Eastern Park are looking to return to two day cricket, they'll go into Grade 2 as the 2nd side relegated.

Whispers early in the year about Para Vista going to 2 day cricket as well, they may also slide into Grade 2 somewhere.

Dublin & Two Wells to Grade 3 will make that div strong.

Since going to Grade 2, we have won 13 games in 3 seasons.

Leading wicket takers:
84 - Rackers
68 - Bedge
40 - Miller
31 - Woodford
24 - Channa

Leading Run Scorers:
764 - Bedge
659 - Rackers
533 - Raines
360 - Woodford
324 - Brasser

Huge gap between the consistency of the top 2 and the rest, and Miller, Channa, Woodford and Brasser wont be playing A grade next season.

Staying up each year is slowly crippling us.

Understandable

Atco are somewhat walking a similar tightrope

Stayed in div2 a couple of seasons ago despite being relegated and are kind of hovering between finals and relegation each year.

It’s hard to attract quality players when your a mid div2 side and the standard is still decent enough young potential talent can still struggle. It’s also that ladder position where quality old blokes have to decide to help out the a grade or seek that possible last finals success in b grade level.

Some late drama in the LO1

No grand final up as yet due to something related to the semis

A losing semi finalist may make the GF or no GF may be played.
