Richmond just didn't give up, Port limps across the line just. The Port defence was under the f**king pump there and were outstanding in that last quarter.
Did anyone get sick of Port kicking long down the line as much as I did?
Good first game from Jones.

Ump said under pressure, normally knock it thru though, not handball. Deliberate handball thru for a point, interesting

How clutch has RG been over his whole career?!?! Always a little bit iffy from a set shot, but never when the game is on the line. Both teams take a bow, this is heading toward the Port v Bris rivalry of about 18 year ago

Reading the afl rulebook is probably as confusing as a dr suess box set but i think its fine to do that if within the square distance from goal.

How's the three Richmond players just standing there and not attempting to tackle or put any physical pressure on Gray whilst watching him rush the behind. The decision the umpire made serves them right for thinking it will be paid deliberate and just standing there appealing for a free kick.

Port with the great escape in the end.. deserved to win, looked the better side over the majority of the game. Tigers supporters on social media are a crack up, they feel robbed but reality is they were lucky not to get blown away early.

Reckon the Tiges used a lot of petrol hanging on in the 2nd then getting back into it in the 3rd. With Port's injuries Richmond had them on toast, but Ports dug deep .. How important were Drew and Duursma in that last quarter!! What a freakin game!!

Drew was terrific in the last, but was non existent for the first 3 qtrs. Amon and Wines were my best.

Expensive win but the win they just had to have.

Once everyone is back on the park last nights win will be invaluable from a belief point of view.

Yep, to have copped a heap of injuries and drop the game to go 2-2 is shaky ground. Just looked at their draw for the next month, it’s not bad but bloody hell you couldn’t mark any as a W in permanent ink with (as expected) several regulars missing. Footy seems so even at the moment, can’t recall it being as fascinating in the last coupla decades.
