Something similar to the scenes at Old Trafford today may get the message across.

No.

Can I ask why....I think that would be a great representation of the past and the future and possibly some form of guernsey they could wear long time.

The impression I get from a lot of Port supporters these days is that they if could do away with any reference to the power nickname, thunderbolt logo, teal in colour and go back to completely being prison bar magpies they would jump at the opportunity.

Surely their 'Power' history has value in the same way their Magpie history does, I mean they have the power for what 24 years now, a quarter of a century.

Its almost like they are embarrassed about the 'Power' element of their club.

That's never happening.

Wear the V in all AFL matches and once a year acknowledge our roots in the PB's and that's it.

There somewhat having a crack at doing away with all of the Power history other than the teal though.

Lightning Bolt completely gone form logo, Power reference all but removed from most merchandise, Port Power not referred to in fixtures and tv usage and now talk of one off prison bar usage which will quickly turn into home game prison bar usage if Ports history of making deals is anything to go by.

P.s

If the AFL gave you permission to wear the Magpie guernsey once a year in the home showdowns but you were never ever ever allowed to request and raise any further usage of the magpie guernsey under circumstances and it was 100% legally binding for the next 100 years.....would you sign the deal?

Wasn't he the Crow that was rumoured to have a 3 year deal at the Gold Coast last season?

Sydney I thought.

Do u honestly Think Port will be happy Wearing PB once a year ??

If approved. I’d give it 2-3 season until they complain about not wearing more than that.

This is exactly what should happen.
The AFL and Port should sign a iron clad agreement that the PB’s can be worn once per year at Port’s home showdown and it never be mentioned again. No other special occasions or anything ever again even if heritage round returns.

Agreed and it's not that hard.

If you simply made one of the prison bar stripes teal, problem solved.

Plus a new range of merch.
