Welcome aboard Magellan!

At least this time around, we are in our new home, so a bit more room, and a little more comfortable.

Just checked the bog paper supply (Just for you LM) and can confirm a 32 pack in the cupboard. Actually every time Mrs C has come back from grocery shopping for the past 8 months, with bog roll, daughter & I have ribbed her about hoarding...

Working from home order was in place from my employer anyway so no change there. Mrs C goes to work tomorrow, them "works" from home next Mon/Tues, in affect doing **** all and getting paid for it. The joys of working in the public sector I guess.

Freezer reasonably well stocked, grabbed a slab of beer last night, wine supply is a little thin, private reserve aside. Good news, Dan's not far away for further beer and wine top ups.

Full gas bottle on the BBQ, may need to deposit some cash into the Sportsbet account, as that's about all there will be to follow over the weekend, mind you a Hawks bye is a relief.

Had a job interview yesterday (actually a 3rd interview for the role, getting to the pointy end) cancelled on me yesty, Zoom call tomorrow, so I am hopeful of shit getting real there. Although who know what covid does to the prospective new employer? My guess is it may delay a final decision by another week. Worst case.

Other than that, just bunker down for the next week, and tough it out again.

Make me wonder why we still let ex pats in from India, while its rampant, then hotel quarantine them (rather than put them out in the sticks) then let the **** travel back here and spread shit like wild fire.

Had this thing by the nuts, now back to square one. Unless of course its all just a scamdemic..... and if it is, what's the end game.... who is winning here?

Good luck mate, at least this one should be short term, well short termish!!

If true I would expect us to close the border ASAP.

Not surprising given the increased number of tests being conducted.

Pull it apart as you will...........

It could be said that table demonstrates that if you socially isolate, have the flu jab (increased compliance last year compared to previous years) and practise good infection control standard precautions the burden of disease is reduced. Imagine how bad it could’ve been if we weren’t doing those things based on the experience of the Americas and Europe?

Youre clearly in the swallow it whole camp and will be forever, if you cant concede something isnt right by now you never will.

All it does is gives the government justification for control because of the minority that can't be trusted to do the right thing

I think we're jumping a shadows here a bit, with nearly 23 million people in Australia the likelihood of contact and infection would have to be 0.00000001% at best.

So the country needs to go into complete lockdown for a month.
The health dept, the army, police all hands on deck.

They come to your house and you get your jab.
If you don't want it, that's fine.
It's a free country and everyone is entitled to that.

New laws
Workplaces - all employees must be jabbed.
Shops - the QR code remains and can only enter upon showing a licence.

Every recipient of jab getting a Jab Licence. This will help them go back to living a 'normal' life.
Those who refuse the jab are no longer welcome to federal government assistance.
Can't work.
Can't go to shops.

Just start jabbing people ffs.
Forget this 1a, 1b, 3d bollocks. Noone is going. Open it up for everyone. Make a booking and away you go!

How the F*** do two strange girls get on a school bus?

What was the school bus driver thinking??

This is in the country where the kids that get on a particular school bus are pretty constant
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

More like 0.0001%, but yeah, it's an overreaction.

South Aussies who have returned from Victoria, didn't visit any of the listed sites, and were already vaccinated, are being required to get 3 tests and isolate each time.
Yet everyday Victorians, no requirement to get tested.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
