Not sure how much truth.. but talking to a lad who said they realise they're not in a position to be able to successfully manage going up the grades, and as a club are comfortable, and sustainable in D7.

Therefore, they look to create two even sides between their A / B grade, promote youth into the 1's where possible and look to win games, but not too many that they might find themselves in with a chance.

The trade off is collecting lower grade flags to keep spirits high around the place experiencing "success".

I think they are too good to lose all 4. Albeit have them sitting below CU and Greenacres.

Any Houghton blokes on here know how number 32 ended up after getting stretchered off?
90 minutes 12 in is where I think he might have hurt it his knee, the bloke on the ground must have had hard ribs.

I don't think his knee touched his ribs, more of the arm, he is not a dirty player although that looked somewhat lazy, he's put on a few kg's from the last time I seen him.

His injury is bizarre, what did he actually hurt?

Lifting your foot off the ground to drop a knee into someone lying on the ground is not lazy. It's a dog act. Karma was quick in this one.
Did some sort of leg injury later on.
And him roasting the umpire after giving away the most blatant free kick ever was just bizarre.

hmm, not sure on that one.

Must have been the dirty Lonsdale player who was punching the guy on the ground over and over again that made no 32 trip.

Lonsdale supporters were pretty feral bunch, you'd kinda expect that though with all the inbred action coming down from that way.

One of the officials from Lonsdale came over to Houghtons bench and apologised for how bad they were acting. Guess that kind of stuff happens when you are just a bottom end team with scum in the crowd. Houghton came away with the win so guess long drive back for the 6 people that came to watch had a great drove home.
The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything.

Got to admit watching that I noticed what looked to be the Lonsdale bloke throwing punches more than the Houghton knee. In saying that my eyes are rubbish so gave the Lonsdale bloke some leanicy thinking maybe he was pretending to handball the ball avoiding a holding the ball decision.

He was throwing punches. The ball was actually on the other side of the players body on the ground.

Talk about dog act, lucky he didn't get a few himself.

Interesting selection too by osb!
Pulling Jackie chan out of retirement, to fly kick his way into every ruck contest.
